Ideas to Your Letter to Santa

Ideas for your letter to Santa.  Does your child or grandchild write to Santa?  I truly can’t remember if I did or not but knowing my mom, I probably did at one time!

Many children can’t wait to let Santa know what is on their wish list for Christmas.  While most of us won’t be able to buy everything on their list, I know Santa always tries.

Most of us only address these letters to Santa at the North Pole, but according to the US Postal Service this is Santa’s mailing address:

Santa Claus, 123 Elf Road, North Pole 88888

When I came across this address, I also found that the postal system has a program called Operation Santa.  Letters sent to that address are scanned and uploaded to the website.  If you would like to provide a gift to a child, the letters are available to read and you can send a gift on their list.

“Each year, hundreds of thousands of letters sent to Santa from children and families arrive at Post Offices around the country. Most letters ask for toys and games. Some ask for basic necessities. Some ask for help for themselves and their loved ones.

USPS Operation Santa makes it possible for individuals and organizations to adopt these letters and send responses and thoughtful gifts in Santa’s place.”

I never knew this existed but what a wonderful program.  Here is a link to the website if you are interested in learning more USPS Operation Santa.

What if your child could receive a letter back from Santa!  This company does just that.  It’s Santa’s Official North Pole Mail.  You can use one of their pre-written letters, personalize your own, or a combination of both.  They have several options and add-ons if you so desire.

They have letters, postcards, certificates, and gifts.  Plus, I even saw a kit you can purchase which is a Santa Evidence Kit (click on photo) that you can place in your home to prove Santa was there – how ingenious.
